Blue medieval dress

Dress concept for this [link] contest, held by *ArynChris
This is only a part of the design: I’ve uploaded the composed picture, with the full-length sketches, here [link] in the scraps.
The rules required just a blue dress in a medieval style, the rest was up to the participant. I decided on a royal blue garb, of some heavy fabric, plus a corset and the inner sleeves of a lighter material, with a slight jacquard pattern. The gown has three pieces, with the front shorter than the back (the back gathers in a petite train), and I tried to give to the design some “geometrical” lines. I know it’s nor very “medieval”, neither original, but that was what I had in mind for this contest. ^^’ Nonetheless, I hope it will be of some use for the requester. ^___^

That’s also a little way to wish a MERRY CHRISTMAS to all my wonderful friendlist!! I wish I could hug you one by one: I’m immensely grateful for all your comments, faves and affection, even though I’ve been so absent from DA during the year. ç___ç Thank you for your understanding: I will dedicate this winter break to catch up with comments and to upload more stuff, promise! ^____^
