I’m proud to present you… the result of a collaboration between my lovely ~suzaku3 and me!
This is the present that we made for our beloved ~juccha’s eighteenth birthday… such an important event had to be celebrated as magnificently as we could; and well, we thought that a cosplay-related thing could make a good and meaningful present!^________^

This is the huge and ohmygodsodamncomplicated cloak that Souma is wearing in Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle luxury cover no. 13; here’s the link to the scan [link] .
~suzaku3 sewed the whole mantle, I only painted it; unfortunately, in this photo is not shown the tassel with the crescent moon that Kinnara has made to complete the mantle’s close, but well, I assure that the cloak has it.^^
Well… what else can I say? It was truly a big thing (the painted area alone is about 75 cm in width) and painting it has been such sweat for me… it took roughly 40-45 hours. As you can see, I had to modify the original design more than a bit, since Clamp have made a disast... a-hem, I mean, some weird things with this illustration. However, I hope it didn’t came out too badly in the end!^^’

I’ve never seen someone cosplaying TsubasaRC Souma with this mantle… could it be that we’re the only crazy people who made it? Well, if some of you have seen or made this too, tell me –it’s a matter of curiosity now!
