Red, the colour of life

A birthday present for one of my best friends, who’s Raito’s fan too. I wanted to do a nice drawing, so that she could maybe put it on her bedroom’s wall: and since her bedroom is in the shades of red, I started thinking about something that could go with it.
Raito’s pose is copied from an ‘illustration’ of the anime –and that made the things really difficult for me: I couldn’t render him a bit more realistically… Anyway… I’M SORRY! Sorry for that terrible eye, the poor rendering of the shirt, and other unpleasant details… -___- in the end, I wish that my friend hasn’t put it in her bedroom…
I hope that at least the background is all right –however, I’ve had some fun in drawing the tore sheets and the bloodstains (are they convincing, even a little?)
